Dr. Leta Elias - Veterinarian

Leta Elias

Dr. Leta Elias was born in Plano, TX, and has always had a love for animals and passion for health care.

She earned her Master’s degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 2020, where she studied antibiotic resistance and tick-borne disease. She went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 2024.

Following graduation, she pursued a small animal rotating internship at Kansas State University, gaining additional training in emergency and critical care, internal medicine, exotic animal medicine, surgery, anesthesia, among other areas. This experience has helped her grow comfortable with managing challenging cases and patients who are not typical.

Her interests include internal medicine, critical care, and anesthesia. While she primarily works with dogs and cats, Dr. Elias is interested in broadening her expertise to companion exotics.

Dr. Elias has two cats of her own and loves fostering animals. Her hobbies include cooking (especially new recipes!), gardening & horticulture, and outdoor activities such as hiking, rock climbing, and more.
