For Dr. Beverly Finneburgh—better known as Dr. Finn—veterinary medicine runs in the family.
Her mother is a retired small animal veterinaran, so she's been around the world of animal care her entire life. Once she was old enough, Dr. Finn decided to follow in her mother’s footsteps and pursued a veterinary education. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science at Texas A&M University, where she graduated summa cum laude. From there, she went on to attend A&M’s veterinary school. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 and graduated magna cum laude.
After graduating with her doctorate, Dr. Finn completed a year-long rotating small animal and surgery internship at Kansas State University, then she practiced overnight emergency medicine to gain even more confidence in her medical and surgical skills. She has been serving clients and pets in the Dallas area since 2018.
Dr. Finn finds internal medicine and parasitology particularly interesting, but above all, she loves to connect one-on-one with pet owners and helping them give their pets a long, happy life.
When she's not at work, Dr. Finn can be found watching Star Wars, writing, reading fiction, and crafting. She lives with two cats (Din Djarin and Sabrina), a bearded dragon, two sulcata tortoises, and a musk turtle.
