At Breckinridge Park Animal Hospital, our exceptional team is comprised
of animal lovers with a lifetime of experience caring for pets.
Shelley
Shelley grew up in Richardson. After graduating from Berkner High School, she attended Baylor University (Sic ‘Em Bears!) and graduated with a degree in Speech Communications and English. While at Baylor, Shelley worked as an adoption counselor for the Waco Humane Society and Animal Shelter. Following graduation she worked in sports radio but eventually returned to her first love of animals. After working in the kennel at Northwest Highway Veterinary Hospital for a year, Shelley made the jump to receptionist. She worked as a receptionist at Preston Royal Animal Clinic for five years before following Dr. Scott to Breckinridge Park Animal Hospital.
Shelley is married with two Border Collie daughters, Spirit and recently adopted Brandi. Shelley is a sports fanatic who also enjoys scrapbooking, reading, and attending dog shows. She is a volunteer for Border Collie Rescue of Texas and has a special interest in placing homeless pets as well as filling pet-less homes.
Wendi
Wendi is a native of Utah. She married her husband Matt in 1989 and followed him to CA while he served 10 yrs in the United States Marine Corps. During that time they welcomed 2 children, Samantha and David into their home. After their move to Texas they added 3 dogs to the family as well: Adrienne, an All American mixed breed, Major, a German shepherd and Jesse a Golden retriever/Lab mix.
Wendi has worked in childcare, customer service and data entry at different times in her life. She has also worked extensively in animal rescue by fostering animals, helping at adoption events and in the planning of fundraisers. Her long time dream was to work with animals and her job at BPAH has helped her to achieve that goal. She is enjoying the opportunity to work with the great staff at the hospital and especially the wonderful client and patients that frequent BPAH.
