Breckinridge Park Animal Hospital is not just a veterinary clinic. It is a family-run business, owned by two caring veterinarians who understand the importance of your family’s pets.

Scott and Erica Erickson met while attending Texas A&M University. They each earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1995. In 2003, the doctors opened Breckinridge Park Animal Hospital, with a focus on helping pets and their families. Both doctors excel in a wide range of veterinary services, including:

• small animal medicine
• small animal surgery
• anesthesia
• pain management
• disease management
• dermatology
• dentistry
• oncology

The Ericksons strive to serve as local leaders in animal health and welfare:

• Dr. Scott serves on the board of directors for the Emergency Animal Clinic, where he works to keep Richardson’s emergency services the highest-quality in the area.
• Dr. Erica was appointed to the City of Richardson Animal Services Advisory Commission, where she assists with management of the animal shelter.

The doctors are both members of:

• American Animal Hospital Association
• American Veterinary Medical Association
• Texas Veterinary Medical Association
• Collin County Veterinary Medical Association

Dr. Scott and Dr. Erica attend numerous continuing education seminars each year to ensure they keep abreast of the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.

The Ericksons share their home with two daughters, Avery and Drew, in addition to three dogs—a Jack Russell Terrier named Harley, a Boxer named Moe, and a Golden Retriever named Josie. They also live with a cat named Tom, a hermit crab, and fish! All dogs as well as their cat were adopted from rescue organizations or shelters.

When not working, the doctors enjoy travel, as well as sports and outdoor activities.
